I got Pandora working by harnessing the power of Google! The OpenPandora program plus the Tor anonymizer do the trick. So now I can discover lots of new and interesting music to spend my emusic credits on, yay.
Some really interesting sexual psychology research disguised as a meme. The interesting part is the explanation of the results, which is based on actual science rather than astrology. But if you fill in the meme you will also be helping contribute to the research. (Which is a really cunning plan for getting people to fill in your surveys, incidentally, much better than paying desperate undergrads to do it!)
The only possible solution is to have more sex. For the sake of Science, of course...
No, seriously, the survey has the same problem as a lot of more frivolous surveys, that it rather heavily assumes you're in an ongoing sexual relationship. Let's see if I can dig out the link to the analysis... I think this page will tell you about the research behind the categories proposed, but the whole site seems to be down just now.
ah, thanks for pointing out the quiz is actually for somebody's research; none of the other people i saw post it mentioned that (and i wasn't interested then).
so now i've filled it in for science. :) but yeah, not enough appropriate options, though it came roughly out correctly for me (and i was muchly pleased by the lead-in gender questions). i wonder, of course, whether there really are only 3 basic styles. that seems very limited.
